BishopNoonan In all things, we must remain centered on who we are, from where we come and the moral guidelines written on our hearts.

Ask Father Faith: February 10, 2012

Why don't we eat meat on Fridays during Lent?
--Cameron, 10th grade, Morning Star Catholic School, Orlando

It is because we choose to do a common act of penance together as a Church. It is sort of comforting to know that on certain days of the year that every Catholic person throughout the entire world is doing the same thing!

This week's question was answered by the Very Reverend Robert Webster, Director of the Office of Liturgy for the Diocese of Orlando.
